Welcome to Mahanaim Life Encounters

The significance of the Shofar and its place in biblical history is an interesting one. Understanding its use and function is an integral part of Mahanaim Life Encounters.

What is the Shofar?

Shofar is an ancient musical instrument blown by the Israelites. The shofar or the ram’s horn is a reminder of Abraham’s sacrifice of Isaac and God’s provision of the ram as a substitute.

The powerful sound of the Shofar is healing and causes confusion in the enemy’s camp, when blown it clears the air around us. Rejoice and give thanks to our living God!

The Shofar (trumpet) is the sound of God’s voice!

“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,” - Revelation 1:10

Encounter God and experience unity in the Body of Christ

“Rise up and gather, shofar blowers, look up to God and align with His heart through worship, prayer and waiting. View God’s vision and reach out to the church and society. Look at the revelations of the Holy Spirit, cultivate God's eschatological pioneers, activate the anointing of prophets and seers, realize God's eschatological plan, watch the destiny, connect the nations, and prepare for the Lord's second coming.”

Revive the lost art of playing this ancient musical instrument - the Shofar or the ram’s horn. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could play an ancient musical instrument?
